ANKENY JUNIOR FOOTBALL
2010 POST SEASON TOURNAMENT
GENERAL INFORMATION
The 2010 AJF Post Season Tournament is a youth tackle football tournament for 4th through 7th grade football teams from Ankeny and throughout the area. The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 23th and Sunday, October 24th at the Prairie Ridge Youth Sports Complex in Ankeny (18th Street between Ash and State Ave). The tournament is open to eight teams in each division. The divisions are as follows:
4th Grade Tackle
5th Grade Tackle
6th Grade Tackle
7th Grade Tackle
Each team will play at least two games maybe more depending on the number of teams registered in each Division. The final tournament parings will be mailed out approximately one week prior to the tournament.
RULES
The tournament will follow high school rules with several modifications designed for player safety. A list of rules for each Division is available through the Tournament Director.
The tournament games will be officiated by a crew of four officials. One or two members of each crew will be a licensed IHSAA official.
REGISTRATION
The entry fee for the tournament is $300 per team. An additional $100 per team will be charged per team as a gate fee. Trophies will be given to each member of the top team in each division (limit 20 trophies per team). Please complete the attached Roster and return with the entry fee to:
